Storm Names 2024 Ireland. Each of the three meteorological services has given seven names to this season’s list, with ireland’s contribution consisting of conall, darragh, hugo, izzy, naoise, poppy and vivienne. Ireland saw 13 to 14 severe storms in 2023/24, 11 of which were named as part of the system.
